Disney+ is producing a Korean-language remake of the FX spy drama The Americans, titled The Koreans, which relocates the story to Seoul in 1990 with North Korean agents embedded in South Korean society. The series, set for release in 2027, will star Lee Byung Hun and Han Ji Min.

BTS held a free reunion concert at Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul on Saturday, marking their first full-group performance in nearly four years and releasing the new album Arirang, which sold 3.98 million copies on its first day. The event was livestreamed on Netflix to over 190 countries, but actual attendance was significantly lower than the expected 260,000, with estimates ranging from 48,000 to 104,000.
