In Sweden, a deceased woman in her 60s was found in the water at Oset in Skebäck, Örebro, and identified as the woman missing since the weekend, according to Polisen Örebro Händelser. In Norway, an elderly person was found in the water in Flekkefjord and later declared dead, NRK Nyheter reports. A lifeless person was found in a lake in Skien and declared dead, according to NRK Norge. A man was recovered from a small river in Rogaland and later died in hospital; no crime is suspected, NRK Nyheter states.

Tragic drownings involving children and young adults have occurred in the US and Australia. A five-year-old boy was found dead in Shasta Lake, California, after going underwater without a life jacket, the Shasta County Sheriff's Office said. No foul play is suspected.

Seven-year-old Abel Friday-Williams drowned while trying to save his friend at a waterfall in North Carolina, according to the Catawba County Sheriff's Office. 26-year-old Kristopher Nathaniel Logan drowned in the Colorado River while trying to retrieve his hat on his birthday, Bullhead City Police reported. He was not wearing a life jacket.

Before the parents could remove the juvenile from the water to put on his personal flotation device, he had gone underwater.

In Australia, a 54-year-old woman drowned at Neds Beach on Lord Howe Island, Daily Mail - News reports. A 25-year-old woman drowned at Ellery Creek Big Hole in Alice Springs, according to the same source. Boat accidents and missing persons have been reported in Norway and Sweden.

76-year-old Ragnar Bjørnø was found dead under a boat in Larvik, Norway, NRK Vestfold og Telemark reports. Police believe his death was an accident, according to police attorney Lise Dalhaug. A couple's boat 'Odin' sank at Bryggen in Bergen; they escaped but lost their home, NRK Norge reports.

The couple did not have insurance for the boat. A man in his 70s from Hvaler died after his boat ran aground near Herføl, NRK reports. The body of Olaf Birger Danielsen, missing since a boat accident in August 2025, was found, NRK Nyheter states.

A man fell into the Tista river in Halden and was rescued, NRK reports. A possible drowning was reported in Fällträsk, Piteå, after someone heard cries for help, SVT Nyheter reports. Other drownings and water-related incidents have been reported in the UK, Colombia, and Australia.

A British tourist drowned in Cartagena, Colombia, after reportedly traveling there to get married, Daily Mirror - Main reports. 65-year-old Tony Aspden was found dead after being swept away by floodwaters in South Australia, South Australia Police said. A man is missing after getting into difficulty in the water at Polzeath, Cornwall, UK, HM Coastguard reports.

A woman died after being rescued from a canal in Walsall, UK; death treated as unexplained, West Midlands Police said. A Norwegian citizen is reported to have died on Bali after being hit by a boat, NRK reports.
