Man dies after central Gothenburg assault arrest made

on Monday, and a police spokesperson said it is still unclear how the man was injured. In Bollebygd, an injured man was found during the night in a small locality. Police cordoned off an area and are classifying the incident as attempted murder.

m. on Friday, and a man in his 45s was found injured outdoors, awake and able to speak, but taken to hospital. The injuries are not life-threatening, but the exact nature is unclear.

No suspect has been arrested. Internationally, a man was taken to Stavanger University Hospital with stab wounds after a violent incident in Stavanger city center on Sunday, March 22. Police attorney Mona Byrkjedal said the suspect has been questioned and has admitted to the factual circumstances.

A 68-year-old woman sustained foot injuries, and an 85-year-old woman is suspected of causing bodily harm. The injured woman's condition has worsened and her injuries are now considered serious; she will remain in hospital for treatment. An 18-year-old man is prosecuted for two cases of assault at Stortorget in Växjö.
