The celebrity, a man in his 30s, was detained at about 8pm as the undercard got under way, according to detectives. The arrest relates to an alleged rape and sexual assault of a female victim at a home in North London earlier this year. A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said a 30-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of rape, sexual assault and causing a person to engage in sexual activity without consent on 11 April, and has since been bailed.

A 26-year-old man was arrested after allegedly sexually assaulting a woman in the crowd during Gunna's concert at London's O2 Arena on 25 March. The woman was with friends in the standing area when a man approached her from behind and sexually assaulted her, as seen in a social media video.

Security and officers took a man into custody at the scene. The O2 Arena called it an isolated incident promptly attended by security and police. Gunna has not addressed the incident publicly.

In Bristol, a man was arrested on suspicion of rape after a daylight attack on a woman in Castle Park on Sunday at about 10am. 32am after concerns for the victim's wellbeing. She was taken to hospital, discharged, and is recovering at home with support from specially trained officers.

Separately, a man is wanted after several women have been assaulted in Asker and Bærum. According to Budstikka, the man is also linked to a rape in Oslo. Police have grounds to see these cases as connected.

No one has been arrested yet, but police believe they know who is behind the assaults. The suspect is under 30 years old and shorter than 180 cm. In Sweden, a 41-year-old man has been detained on suspicion of raping a teenage girl in Vitabergsparken park in Stockholm on Wednesday morning just before 10am.

The victim, a 14-year-old girl, called the police herself via 112, and the perpetrator fled on a bicycle. The man was arrested the day after and detained by Stockholm District Court on probable cause suspected of child rape. The man admits physical contact with the girl but denies the crime.

Prosecutor Filippa Henkow stated the victim and suspect did not know each other previously, and further interviews are pending. In Umeå, a man in his 25s was arrested on Sunday, suspected of rape. The crime is reported to have been committed in a residence during the morning.

The man left the scene but was located with the help of police cameras and arrested in central Umeå. The involved parties have some form of acquaintance with each other. Police are working with initial investigative measures.

In Malmö, a man in his 70s is suspected of hitting a woman in her 40s and was arrested on suspicion of assault. In Fagersta, a woman in her fifties was arrested and detained on Sunday night suspected of having stabbed her boyfriend in the stomach. A 6-year-old girl was allegedly abducted from outside a private hospital in Uttar Pradesh, India, on Thursday night and raped in a deserted house before escaping covered in blood.

A 30-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of abduction and rape and remains in custody. The case has been registered under Section 65 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and referred to the POCSO Act. In South Korea, police arrested a man in his 50s wanted for distributing sexually explicit content after he appeared on a livestream on 15 April.

Officers apprehended him as he was leaving the building, and he attempted to run but was caught. South Korea is experiencing a rise in digital deepfake sex crimes. In August 2024, Human Rights Watch noted hundreds of women and girls are targeted, with one group having 220,000 members.

In 2024, almost 500 schools and universities were targeted in a wave of deepfake abuse. In Västerås, Sweden, the child rape scandal surrounding a youth club leader continues to grow. Police are in the process of unraveling a sexual abuse case involving a youth leader and minors.

The man, who is in his 40s, is a youth leader at a sports club in Västerås. In Worcester, a 23-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of rape after a woman was allegedly attacked near The Tything on Saturday morning. The suspect remained in police custody on Sunday afternoon.
