The only game confirmed for the showcase so far is Gears Of War: E-Day, a prequel game, which will be featured in a separate presentation immediately following the general showcase. Its release date remains uncertain, as major media reports it is supposed to be launching later this year, but Xbox head Phil Spencer previously suggested it was aiming for a 2026 release alongside the next Forza Horizon and Fable games. The showcase will include first gameplay looks and news on upcoming titles from Xbox's first-party studios and third-party partners.
Additionally, an Xbox FanFest community event will be held in person in Los Angeles alongside the showcase. The next Forza Horizon is confirmed for May 19 and Fable for autumn, while 2026 marks the 25th year of the Xbox brand, which Microsoft seems keen on celebrating.
