5-hour session for a cost of 350 kronor per group, with local associations or Region Gotland's caretakers setting up obstacle courses and the leisure unit handling booking and coordination. The initiative has been carried out during several holiday periods, including the autumn holiday 2025, Christmas holiday 2025, and most recently the sports holiday 2026, with the next opportunity to book Movement Days with obstacle courses during the Easter holiday. Activities are planned in Humlegårdsskolan's and Norrbackaskolan's gymnasiums during the Easter holiday.
Participants have responded to a survey about what they think of the concept, and the results show that they are very satisfied, with an overwhelming majority wanting the activities to continue during holidays. Movement Days are one of several initiatives to get more people moving, including free swimming where you can borrow swimming passes to Solbergabadet, Hemsebadet, and Kustparksbadet via libraries around the island, with the pass giving free entry for two adults and up to four children for seven days.
