The team announced that Svahn has experienced mild cold symptoms and will stay home. She was selected for the Oberhof competitions. Svahn recently returned to competition last weekend in the Smart Energy Cup in Falun after missing the Tour de Ski earlier due to issues including illness and an injury. She will not be replaced on the team. In a separate development, Eric Rosjö is also staying home due to a cold and will be replaced by Jesper Persson in Sunday's distance race, with Persson still competing in Saturday's sprint.
