Mjällby AIF reportedly plans to retain Elliot Stroud at least until this summer, despite his contract expiring at the end of 2026 and significant interest from abroad, according to sources from Kristianstadsbladet and BLT Blekinge Läns Tidning. Stroud, a 23-year-old player who scored ten goals and provided five assists as a key part of Mjällby's historic championship-winning team, is reportedly inclined to stay but has not ruled out a move. He stated that transfers can happen quickly once a club makes a decision. Many had expected him to leave during the winter.
