The Cultural Heritage Fund provides support of up to 600,000 kroner to repair the facades of the Pipehuset building in Larvik, and up to 900,000 kroner in support to Rødvinbrygga in Smøla, according to the fund. Climate and Environment Minister Andreas Bjelland Eriksen expressed support for preserving cultural heritage through such funding. The specific damage to the Pipehuset facade requiring repairs has not been detailed, and it is unclear how much of the total repair costs are covered by the fund's support.

The Pipehuset building houses the Nerdrum Museum, which has between 50,000 and 100,000 visitors annually, according to sources. Located on a former industrial area related to match production, it was Norway's last active match factory, closing in 1987, sources say. The Cultural Heritage Fund director noted that the grant enables facade restoration for continued public use.

Rødvinbrygga in Smøla was damaged during Hurricane Gyda, with the support going towards work on the roof and facade to secure the building against further damage and allow owners to proceed with plans for use, according to the fund. The owners wish to have concerts and history dissemination in the building in the short term, they say. The exact timing of Hurricane Gyda and the extent of damage to Rødvinbrygga remain unknown, as does the current condition and specific repair needs of its roof and facade.

Rødvinbrygga was built in 1923 and 1924 as a boathouse and salted fish reception, and has functioned as a workplace, storage, and reception, sources indicate.
