On Friday, Zayn Malik shared a hospital photo on Instagram revealing he is still recovering from an unknown illness. The singer was scheduled to appear at Circuit, Kingston at 9pm on April 13 for a special One Night Only show playing new tracks from his new album KONNAKOL. Concert promoter Banquet Record announced on Instagram that the show had to be postponed due to Malik falling sick, and Malik is still being treated in hospital.
Malik expressed heartbreak that he cannot see fans this week, thanking them for their understanding and support. According to his social media post, he stated he was heartbroken and thankful for fans' understanding. He also thanked hospital staff including doctors, nurses, cardiologists, management, and admin, saying they were all legends. Banquet Record stated they will contact ticket holders later in the coming week about the postponement, and Malik added that they are already in the process of trying to reschedule the Banquet Q&A and will share new dates soon.

Organizers explained that people unable to attend the rescheduled date could request a refund when it was announced. They urged fans not to contact them before the rescheduled date is announced. Organizers added that if the events are cancelled, fans will of course be refunded.
