The partnership involves limited edition Fanta cans and bottles with Xbox-themed packaging, set to become available starting next month. There will be five different variants for Halo, Call of Duty, Forza Horizon 6, World of Warcraft, and Diablo 4, featuring characters such as Ghost from Call of Duty, Master Chief from Halo, and Xalx27atath from World of Warcraft. Paladin from Diablo will also be included and gets a unique flavor called Crimson Cherry, though there is a discrepancy with another report stating the Diablo 4 variant will come with a new flavor called Fanta Crimson.
Completing the challenges can net you a Fanta colored suit of armor for the upcoming Halo: Combat Evolved remake and a 1966 Toyota Sports 800 with a Fanta livery for Forza Horizon 6. The codes also let you enter competitions to win prizes such as a ROG Xbox Ally, an Xbox Series S console, and a one-month subscription to Xbox Game Pass, but another report claims under the cap there is a code that allows you to win gaming prizes, including controllers from ROG Ally. All variants are available in stores now and will be there as long as stock lasts, contradicting the earlier claim about next-month availability.
Broader Xbox announcements include that Forza Horizon 6 launches on May 19, and Xbox has plans to revitalize both the Halo and Gears Of War franchises this year. Xbox has a big summer showcase scheduled for June that should include some major new game announcements. Xbox's new CEO Asha Shamar has lifted the lid on the next Xbox console, Project Helix, confirming rumors that it will be more like a gaming PC, and is apparently responsible for killing the 'This is an Xbox' campaign.
Jason Ronald, vice president of Next Generation at Xbox, said during his Game Developer Conference keynote speech earlier this month that Xbox will be rolling out new ways to play some of the most iconic games from its past.
