Wrexham's FA Cup run came to an end on Sunday as they lost 4-2 to Chelsea after extra time in the fifth round. The League One side had drawn 2-2 in normal time despite playing with 10 men following George Dobson's 93rd-minute red card. Chelsea secured victory with goals from Alejandro Garnacho and Joao Pedro in extra time, according to reports. Wrexham co-owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney were present at the Racecourse Ground for the match. Reynolds, who made his debut as a football commentator on Sky Sports during the game, according to reports, described the occasion as a big moment for the club. "That was a big, big moment, I think, for all of us," Reynolds said. "The fact that we took Chelsea into extra time, it took them extra time, a red card, six subs to take us out, was a feeling I don't think I can... words are too clumsy to describe that feeling for this community and this town and this stadium." He added that taking Chelsea to extra time felt like a win for the community.

Blake Lively shared loved-up snaps from London on social media after traveling to the UK with her husband Ryan Reynolds. She posted a black and white selfie taken outside Caffe Concerto in central London, a photo of a coffee date in a red stone cafe, and a mirror selfie on UK Mother's Day wearing a black and white gingham shirt dress with a two-tone knitted cardigan and chunky jewellery. Lively also shared a photo from a catch-up with former Great British Bake Off host Prue Leith during her London trip. In her captions, she expressed gratitude for the best week with loved ones, thanking Wrexham AFC and the stadium staff for a performance of a lifetime. The couple also visited an Owl Sanctuary in the Welsh countryside and held owls, according to multiple reports.

The (Premier League) dream is still alive and we feel we’re in a good place. Nothing more we can do than win and we just concentrated on making right decisions from the bench and getting another three points. To get 70 points is a good statement in our first season in the Championship and now we want more. It was important we did our job and we did that to a man.

During the Chelsea game, David Beckham FaceTimed Reynolds and McElhenney, but they could not hear him. McElhenney later said: "Yes, we'll do a lot of FaceTiming during the game. So in fact, during the Chelsea game, David Beckham was FaceTiming with us, and we're all trying to talk to each other, but he can't hear us." Reynolds and McElhenney also provided co-commentary for Sky Sports during Wrexham's league win over Swansea City on Friday, according to reports.

In the Championship, Wrexham are battling for a play-off spot, sitting sixth in the table, ahead of seventh-placed Hull City on goal difference. They won 1-0 at Oxford on Tuesday, moving above Hull who drew 2-2 with Leicester. Manager Phil Parkinson expressed confidence in the team's promotion chances after the win. "The (Premier League) dream is still alive and we feel we're in a good place," Parkinson said. "Nothing more we can do than win and we just concentrated on making right decisions from the bench and getting another three points. To get 70 points is a good statement in our first season in the Championship and now we want more." Wrexham will face Coventry away and then host Middlesbrough on the final day of the season.

Meanwhile, Coventry City secured the Championship title with a 5-1 victory over Portsmouth, returning to the Premier League after 25 years. In response, Wrexham's Hollywood owners offered Coventry City a first-class trip to Las Vegas. McElhenney posted on X: "Congrats to Coventry City!!!! My friend Ryan Reynolds and I would like to offer you a first-class trip to Vegas. Please be ready in the am and be back in time for kick-off on Sunday. A little late is okay too." It remains unclear whether Coventry City will accept the offer.
