A woman in her 30s has been charged with theft and serious trespassing at Bredviksberget's waste facility in Piteå, according to local reports. The incident occurred after the woman's access to the facility through the Anytime system was blocked. Police investigation reportedly revealed that when denied entry, the woman used a car to force open the gates to gain access to the waste facility.
According to Piteå-Tidningen, the woman allegedly sold stolen goods online and received approximately 36,000 kronor from individuals who were not close relatives. The woman reportedly visited the facility around 180 times over the course of a year, often after closing hours. She has a criminal history including previous thefts and drug offenses, and was previously suspected of a break-in at an Espresso House café last autumn where a safe was stolen.
The charges stem from alleged thefts from the Bredviksberget waste facility.
