According to court proceedings, Wilson allegedly fed information about Cahalane to a drugs kingpin to whom he owed £120,000 after gambling away his money. The court previously heard that Wilson told her mother the drug lord known as 'Frost' would pay her a few thousand pounds for her ex-husband's location. Wilson confirmed she spoke to 'Frost' (real name Ryan Kennedy) over Snapchat where she was offered money for providing her ex-husband's address.
' The court also heard she spoke to her mother about using the money to pay for a trip to Turkey. Kennedy told Wilson that Cahalane's debt was 'everybody's debt' - meaning everyone in his life. According to court proceedings, Kennedy was operating out of Dubai and orchestrated the hit on Cahalane to show him 'who was boss'.
A better way to say it was that he would get into a fight.
Kennedy is not on trial and has not been charged with any crimes as he is 'almost certainly' in Dubai. The exact motive behind the acid attack, beyond showing 'who was boss', remains unclear. Wilson denied planning to murder Cahalane.
' Wilson and Cahalane had met when he was in prison, spoke on the phone for hours, and started a relationship when he left prison. They started a Crossfit gym together, which Wilson told the court was doing 'really well' and financially enough to live on in a good way. Plain-clothed police officers arrived at their home to arrest Cahalane, who had drugs on him at the time, while they were taking their daughter back from nursery.
He said if he could collect some money off Danny and I was to assist in collecting the money off Danny he would give me some of the money that he collected.
Wilson said she was furious about the arrest, feeling it was harming everything they built and worth nothing. She said it was 'mortifying' to have police officers come to the Crossfit gym where the couple was known by the community. The specific evidence linking Wilson to the acid attack plot has not been detailed in court.
