The collection features flavors such as rhubarb and custard, peach melba, bloody Mary, and prawn cocktail. Key items include a Scotch Egg Sandwich (£4) with egg mayonnaise, crumbled Scotch egg, chilli jam, and spinach on 8-grain bread, and a Thousand Island Prawn Sandwich (£4) with prawns, thousand island sauce, and gherkins. Steak Diane Handcooked Crisps and Bloody Mary Prawn Cocktail crisps are available for £1.30 each. The range also includes Rhubarb and Custard Dairy Ice Cream (£3.40), Peach Melba Dairy Ice Cream, a Peach Melba Spritz (£2.50), and a Spicy Pineapple Daiquiri (£2.50).

The retro treats will be available on shelves from April 27, while the first three episodes of Rivals season 2 air on May 15. According to multiple reports, Maddy Wilson, Director of Own Brand at Waitrose, said: "The 80s are back with a fresh twist, and we can only apologise we didn't launch these decades ago." She added: "The fun and drama lie in the choice – now you can settle your own debate, whether it's Steak Diane vs Bloody Mary, or Scotch Egg vs Prawn Cocktail." Wilson described the range as "a celebration of pure joy and food that will give every food lover something to talk about." Mintel's 2026 global food and drink predictions found that 'retro rejuvenation' will be big money this year.
