According to unconfirmed reports, Västerås SK is close to loaning Jonathan Karlsson from Hammarby IF. The Swedish transfer window closes on March 25. Karlsson, a 22-year-old defender, was loaned to VSK last summer and played three matches in Superettan before dealing with an injury.
His contract with Hammarby runs through 2029. Details reportedly remain to be finalized before he signs with VSK, a newcomer to Allsvenskan.
