Four years after the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine began, there is still a need to help those affected with supplies. In the premises of the Equmenia congregation in Vallby, Sweden, volunteer efforts are coordinated. The work started when many Ukrainians arrived in Karlskrona by ferry from Poland with minimal belongings.
The Equmenia church collects food, clothes, and other necessities in Vallby, which are donated to Ukrainians both locally and in their homeland. The operation is supported by other congregations in the municipality. The type of aid needed has changed over the years, but the work continues.
