Växjö Lakers defeated Brynäs 3-2 in Gävle, Sweden, in a quarterfinal match. The win gives Växjö a 3-1 lead in the series, putting them one victory away from advancing to the semifinals. Dylan McLaughlin scored the first goal for Växjö in the first period, but Brynäs equalized quickly through Johan Larsson.
In the final period, Växjö's Eemeli Suomi received a match penalty for crosschecking Brynäs defenseman Robert Hägg. With three minutes remaining, Brynäs took a team penalty, and in the resulting power play, Brogan Rafferty scored the winning goal for Växjö. Växjö had Brogan Rafferty back in the lineup after he missed the third match, while Brynäs welcomed back Oskar Lindblom.
Zach Giuttari was left out of Växjö's lineup, and Jack Kopacka was sidelined for Brynäs.
