Västerås SK will hold its annual meeting next week, where a new board is set to be formed. The club won the Superettan last season and will play in Allsvenskan in 2026. Erik Berntsen has already left his post as a board member, and Andreas Lindahl is not among the proposed members.
According to reports from Vestmanlands Läns Tidning, three new names are being proposed for the board. One of those names is reportedly Elin Cederroos, a former professional in football and boxing. Cederroos told the newspaper that she finds the opportunity exciting and has met with people working at VSK to understand the club's direction.

She stated that football has significant importance for the city and that VSK plays a key role in putting Västerås on the map. In the Swedish Cup, Västerås did not advance, winning their first match against AIK 2-0 but then losing to Häcken 4-1 and Oddevold 1-0.
