Friends of the Mosshagen family have started a fundraiser to support the family after Hugo Mosshagen was reportedly shot and killed. Jemima Vallin, 18, who is best friends with Hugo's sister Ebba Mosshagen, initiated the collection along with several other friends. According to reports, the fundraiser collected over 50,000 Swedish kronor within just a few hours of being launched on Monday evening.
By Thursday afternoon, the amount had reportedly reached 144,000 kronor. The funds are intended to help the family with funeral costs and other needs. Jemima Vallin stated that starting the fundraiser felt like an obvious way to show support for the family during this difficult time.

The friends expressed increased fear and insecurity in society following the shooting, which they said was the fifth shooting in five days. The fundraiser continues through GoFundMe and Swish, with all proceeds going directly to the Mosshagen family.
