The third round of the Texas Open on the PGA Tour has been interrupted due to weather. According to the organizer, play is set to resume at 21:45 Swedish time. Ludvig Åberg had started well, making two birdies in the six holes he played before the interruption in the third round.
The Swede was then two strokes behind Robert MacIntyre, who was also in the lead group. The PGA Tour stated on its website that electricity was detected in the area and heavy rain is expected over the course. If play resumes as expected, the delay will have been around two hours.
