Two labor unions have reportedly terminated their cooperation agreement with Norrköping municipality, citing serious workplace issues within the city's social services department. According to Norrköpings Tidningar, the dispute centers on the social services office where Susanna Karlqvist is the highest responsible official. The unions allege problems including managers shouting at employees, lack of dialogue, and workers feeling gaslighted.
" The termination of the cooperation agreement is described as a clear signal that trust has been exhausted between the parties. While the issues appear concentrated in specific parts of the social services department and its leadership, cooperation reportedly functions mostly well in other parts of Norrköping municipality between employers, unions, safety representatives, and employees.
We take this with the utmost seriousness.
