Umeå municipality has begun clearing artificial turf fields earlier than normal due to light snow and thawing weather. Normally, the municipality starts clearing the fields after the sports break, but because the field at Gammlia will be used as a stadium during the SM week, Tegstunet and Carlslund are being cleared a bit earlier. The municipality announced that it is now proceeding to clear the fields in the city districts.
