Hamptjärnsstugans kafé in Umeå held an Easter egg hunt for children during the Easter break. About 40 children participated in the event at the outdoor area just west of Umeå, despite slush and snowmud. The activities included Easter egg hunting, Easter crafts, and face painting.
Emma Löfgren, who recently took over running the café, said she remembers such events from her childhood and that egg hunting has always been the best part of Easter for her. Participants Viola and Lennon Sonning reported that they had also painted, sledded, and built a snowman, with the new snow being a bonus.
