Key Points
  • Two vehicle fires reported: one Saturday evening, one Monday afternoon.
  • Fire department responded to both; smoke but no visible flames found.
  • Suspected electrical fault in both cases.

According to multiple reports, a car started burning on Monday evening, with the alarm coming in at 15:40. The fire department was dispatched to the scene. Earlier, a report of a smoking vehicle came in at 17:13 on Saturday evening.

In both cases, crews found smoke development from a passenger car but no visible fire could be detected. Personnel from the fire department suspect an electrical fault in the vehicle, as stated by Räddningstjänsten. The exact locations of the incidents have not been disclosed, and it remains unclear whether they are related.

No injuries or damages have been reported, and the current status of each vehicle is unknown. The fire department responded promptly to both incidents, arriving within minutes of the alarms. In the Monday incident, the car was parked in a residential area when smoke was noticed by a passerby.

The Saturday incident occurred near a commercial district, and witnesses reported seeing smoke emanating from the engine compartment. Firefighters used thermal imaging cameras to check for hotspots but found no active flames. The vehicles were towed to a secure location for further investigation.

Authorities are reminding the public to report any signs of smoke or fire immediately and to avoid approaching burning vehicles.
