Two teenagers have been charged with sabotage at Falu District Court for taking sirens, known as Hesa Fredrik, from Hushagsgymnasiet high school in Borlänge during spring 2025. According to the charges, the sirens were then mounted on a car. The sabotage has reportedly hindered the use of the sirens, which the charges state have significant importance for maintaining the country's defense and/or security.

The Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency has claimed 30,000 kronor in damages from the teenagers and an additional approximately 24,000 kronor from their parents. The two teenagers deny sabotage, with one admitting to theft.
