A violent assault on a bus in central Sundsvall left two people injured on Saturday evening. According to police reports, the incident occurred shortly before 11 PM when an unknown assailant attacked two passengers, a man and a woman, on a bus in the city center.
Police have launched an investigation into two cases of aggravated assault. The bus where the incident took place has been cordoned off for technical examination. Both victims were transported to hospital for treatment. By Sunday morning, the woman had been discharged from hospital, but the man remained hospitalized with his condition described as unclear.
