The conflict in the Middle East has intensified, with the US military collaborating with Israel to overthrow Iran's current regime. This has led to dozens of flights being cancelled, leaving numerous British holidaymakers trapped across various parts of the Middle East. The exact number of travelers currently stranded in Dubai and other Middle Eastern destinations is unknown.

Katie Da Silva, a traveler who was stranded in Dubai, shared her experience of escaping. She saw a video of a man who left Dubai by refreshing the Emirates website late at night to find available seats. Da Silva initially reserved flights to European destinations to get closer to home, then secured spots on two UK-bound services.
