A track fault on the railway line between Varberg and Värö in Halland, Sweden, has led to delays for several weeks. All travelers along the route are affected, primarily in the northbound direction toward Gothenburg. Emma Sturk, maintenance unit manager for the railway in the western section at Trafikverket, said the delays amount to a number of minutes.
Öresund trains are delayed by around three to five minutes, and the punctuality of the Kungsbacka commuter train has worsened in both directions. Sturk stated that the faults can be fixed next week.
