Toto's ceramic division drives semiconductor profit surge

Toto plans to invest nearly 2 billion SEK in research and mass production over the next year to expand its semiconductor operations. Other Japanese firms, including cosmetics giant Kao and food company Ajinomoto, have also found profitable niches in the semiconductor industry, major media reports say.
