Czech biathlete Tereza Vinklarkova has decided to end her biathlon career and switch to long-distance cross-country skiing in the Ski Classics circuit. She told SVT Sport she dreams of competing in Vasaloppet and is attracted by the new challenge of longer distances and the team atmosphere. Vinklarkova has already attended two training camps with the Czech team eD system RSJ Team and plans to try for a spot there for one year.

She made her career-best result at the Olympics in Milan and Cortina, finishing eleventh in the distance event.
