Three grass fires were reported in Jönköping County on Saturday. The fires occurred in Sandseryd outside Hovslätt, Herrestad outside Värnamo, and Mösshult east of Vetlanda, where an alarm came at 14:00. The largest fire in Herrestad covered 500 square meters.
All three grass fires were extinguished without posing a major danger to buildings or people. The rescue service warned the public against lighting fires outdoors, citing high risk due to very dry grass from last year.
