Police have arrested three individuals following the fatal shooting of a 15-year-old boy in Rosengård, Malmö on Wednesday evening. According to reports, the shooting occurred around 6:30 PM on March 25, 2026, when emergency services received calls from witnesses who heard and saw gunfire in the area.
The victim, a 15-year-old boy, was transported to hospital by ambulance but could not be saved. Police have since arrested two teenagers - a 15-year-old girl and a 17-year-old boy - on suspicion of murder and serious weapons offenses. Additionally, a 35-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of aiding the murder.

Leif Fransson from the police command center stated that several other individuals have been brought in for questioning. "There are certainly witnesses who have seen and heard things and who may have even filmed the incident," Fransson said, according to Sydsvenskan.
Police spokesperson Patric Fors told Aftonbladet that investigators are conducting witness interviews and technical examinations, and will review surveillance cameras in the area. The teenage suspects were formally arrested at 00:38 and 00:39 respectively, according to court documents.
Intensive police work continued throughout the night in Rosengård, with authorities seeking additional witnesses to the shooting. The investigation remains ongoing as police work to establish the circumstances surrounding the fatal incident.
