Thomas Berg-Paulsen will miss the rest of the SHL season due to a lower-body injury, according to Malmö Redhawks. The club confirmed this in an injury report ahead of the playoffs, stating that all medical examinations have been completed and a rehabilitation plan has been established and initiated. Berg-Paulsen, a forward from Stavanger, Norway, has not played since February 7 and reportedly missed the Hockey World Championship in May due to an injury requiring surgery.
He has played 40 games this season, scoring 12 points. Malmö will play their final five regular-season games without him and are currently chasing a playoff spot in the SHL standings.
