Cross-country skier Thelma Falk has had a strong season, reportedly achieving podium finishes in 19 of her last 20 races. The 16-year-old, who skis for Luleå Gjutaren, is in her first year at a ski high school and has described the season as exceeding all expectations. According to reports, she missed the podium only once in those 20 races.
Falk previously played football and reportedly tore her anterior cruciate ligament at a national team camp in Halmstad less than two years ago, which may have influenced her switch to skiing.
