The Mary Onettes won the award for pop album of the year at the Manifestgalan in Stockholm. The award ceremony was organized by the Swedish Independent Music Producers Association and held at Nalen in Stockholm. The band's album "Sworn" was their first studio album in twelve years.
According to the jury, the album was a hit and rewarded the band's endurance. Other award winners included Boko Yout, who reportedly won prizes for rock of the year and music video of the year. Slowgold won for singer-songwriter, Blender for dance band, Genom Natten for newcomer of the year, and Silence Records for indie of the year.
Gunnar Källström was nominated in the visa category but did not win a prize.
