Teemu Lepaus is reportedly set to break his two-year contract and leave IK Oskarshamn prematurely, according to reports from Barometern. The 33-year-old Finnish forward leads IK Oskarshamn's internal scoring and is fourth in the entire Hockeyallsvenskan, with 51 points this season. However, IK Oskarshamn's sports director Arsi Piispanen denied the reports, stating that Lepaus has a two-year contract, and Lepaus himself said he has a contract for next season.
The reports emerged after IK Oskarshamn's advancement against Almtuna, with the team set to face Björklöven in a quarterfinal series starting on Sunday.
