Teater Halland has received eight million kronor in funding to stage its largest production ever, Kassörskans glömda blommor, this spring. The production involves all staff and will feature 25 performers across all the theater's stages. It is based on social anthropologist Ivana Maček's research on war, love, forgetting, and storytelling, inspired by transgenerational transmission of war experiences and how people handle disasters and trauma.
The production is funded by Riksbankens Jubileumsfond and will have its premiere on April 11, 2026.
