The Swedish cross-country ski team is reportedly dealing with multiple illnesses ahead of the World Cup event in Falun, Sweden, this weekend. According to unconfirmed reports, several top skiers, including Calle Halfvarsson and Frida Karlsson, will miss races due to sickness. Karlsson is skipping Saturday's sprint but is expected to compete in Sunday's skiathlon.
Other skiers like Jonna Sundling, William Poromaa, Edvin Anger, and Ebba Andersson are also reportedly absent due to illness. Lisa Ingesson will get a chance to compete in the World Cup. The event in Falun serves as a pre-World Championships test ahead of next year's championships in Sweden.
