Anton Karlsson, a member of the Left Party, has been acquitted of suspicions of crimes related to drone flying near Landvetter Airport in Sweden. The court ruled that the drone flight did not occur within the airport's protection area. Karlsson had been prosecuted earlier this year for allegedly participating in an action that, according to the prosecutor, risked air traffic at Landvetter Airport.
Following the prosecution, he chose to leave his political role on the municipal technical committee. Karlsson expressed relief at the acquittal, stating he was glad they were cleared.
