The thefts occurred in Linköping, Bankeryd, and Ulricehamn, according to police. Two of the motorhomes were parked on storage lots, while one was taken from a company in Ulricehamn. The stolen vehicles are Fiat Adria and Fiat Hobby models from 2016 or later, with one Fiat Adria valued at approximately 900,000 SEK.
Police are seeking witnesses and urge anyone who saw suspicious activity at storage lots to contact them. "From the police side, we want to warn motorhome owners that new thefts may occur, this also applies to other brands and models," the authority said. Historically, stolen motorhomes have been taken out of the country with manipulated chassis numbers and fake license plates. It remains unclear whether the thefts are linked to organized crime or if any suspects have been identified.
