The Swedish men's biathlon team finished third in a World Cup relay event in Kontiolahti. The team consisted of Viktor Brandt, Jesper Nelin, Martin Ponsiluoma, and Sebastian Samuelsson. Viktor Brandt reportedly had a difficult start, missing two shots and requiring a penalty loop, which left Sweden in last place after the first shooting.
Jesper Nelin and Martin Ponsiluoma also faced challenges in their shooting segments. Sebastian Samuelsson reportedly made a strong comeback, improving Sweden's position from seventh to third by the finish. Norway won the race, with France taking second place.
