A Swedish financier has been extradited to Sweden and is detained on suspicion of serious crimes including aggravated rape, aggravated weapons offenses, and aggravated assault in Bohuslän. The crimes reportedly occurred in Bohuslän in 2024, including at a property owned by another well-known Swedish entrepreneur. The financier, who had emigrated from Sweden to a European country, was arrested in Sao Tomé and Principe, an island nation off West Africa, and extradited over the weekend, arriving in Sweden yesterday.
He was detained in absentia on February 11. A detention hearing in the case will be held tomorrow, according to prosecutor Josefin Pernmyr. The financier denies the crimes, according to his lawyer.
