According to sources, the European edition of Bocuse d'Or 2026, a chef competition, features Ludwig Tjörnemo as the Swedish representative. He has Emilia Björklund as his commis, an assistant chef role. Before the competition, all participating countries receive task descriptions for two dishes and an ingredient list with mandatory components, which this year include beef tenderloin from bull, squid, and artichoke.

How the chefs prepare and combine the dishes is only revealed on the competition day. ' If he wins, he would become the first Swede to win gold since 1997. The competition takes place in Marseille on March 15.

Those who perform best in the European championships then get to compete in the Bocuse d'Or world championships in Lyon in 2026. Bocuse d'Or was founded in 1987 by French master chef Paul Bocuse.
