Swedish male biathletes received their bronze medals from the 2010 Vancouver Olympics in Stockholm, 16 years after the event. The medals were awarded during the Skidskyttekampen event at Stockholms stadion. The delay reportedly occurred because the Russian team, which originally placed third, was later disqualified for doping involving Jevgenij Ustjugov.
Ustjugov was reportedly found guilty of a serious rule violation in 2020, and the process concluded last year, officially making the Swedish team the third-place finishers. The medals were presented by International Olympic Committee member Gunilla Lindberg and International Biathlon Union president Olle Dahlin. The Swedish team members were Carl Johan Bergman, Mattias Nilsson, Fredrik Lindström, and Björn Ferry.
