From 2022 to 2025, at least 587 Swedes were injured in traffic accidents abroad, according to SOS International. The alarm center assesses that the number is higher in reality, as not all accidents are registered, Larmcentralen reported. Six weeks after the accident, Linn was able to come home to Sweden, official sources said. The years after the crash have been filled with hospital visits, operations, and rehab for Linn, according to official sources. According to SVT Väst, Linn Frisk described nerve pain as the hardest part of her recovery. She has spent years sitting, screaming, crying, and having panic pain, but it is much better today compared to right after the accident, she told SVT Väst.

Linn has started studying to become a doctor, official sources confirmed. According to SVT Väst, Linn Frisk described wanting to be a good doctor to someone else someday, inspired by her time in hospitals. She advises not to rent a moped on backpacking trips, as it's not worth it and many get injured, regardless of having a moped license in Sweden, according to SVT Väst. However, she encourages people not to be afraid and to go on backpacking trips, SVT Väst reported.

During the hospital stay, we panicked together, and one staff member told me to pray to God, which made me a bit angry.
