Swedish-American astronaut Jessica Meir performed a spacewalk outside the International Space Station (ISS) on Wednesday. The work is part of upgrading the station with next-generation solar panels to provide more energy for research and operations. Meir, commander of Crew-12 which arrived at the ISS in February, completed her fourth spacewalk.

During a previous mission, she made history by conducting the first all-female spacewalk with Christina Koch.
