Sweden won the bronze medal at the curling world championship. In the bronze match between Japan and Sweden, the score was tied 3-3 until the eighth end. Isabella Wranå made a super stone in the eighth end, securing five points on the last stone and putting Sweden ahead 8-3 going into the ninth end.
Japan scored two points in the ninth end but then conceded. With that, Lag Wranå secured the bronze medal.
