  • Similar events at over 100 locations nationwide, including Falun on April 18.

According to multiple reports, Blekinge folkhögskola in Bräkne-Hoby hosted clothing and plant swap days in collaboration with the Swedish Society for Nature Conservation on Friday and Saturday. Visitors can drop off up to ten garments or plants and in return choose the same number from the available selection. The clothing swap day is also scheduled for Saturday, April 18, in Falun at Kristinegymnasiet's gym hall. The events are part of a national initiative, with swap days held at over 100 locations across Sweden.

According to SVT Blekingenytt, visitor Alice Ambros described the event as fun and noted that it offers an opportunity to swap for good, fun, and unique garments. Organizer Ulrika Berg told SVT Blekingenytt that the initiative is sustainable both for the climate and the wallet. Another visitor, Jade Lingborn, said she takes the chance to find new plants that she did not know about.

It's really fun.

The exact number of attendees at the Bräkne-Hoby event has not been confirmed, and it remains unclear whether the events in Bräkne-Hoby and Falun are part of the same national initiative. The types of plants available for swap were not specified, and future similar events have not been announced.

It's sustainable both for the climate and the wallet.
