A deep low-pressure system is expected to bring troublesome weather to Sweden over the Easter weekend, with warnings possible by Easter Sunday, according to SMHI meteorologist Anna Belking. On Good Friday, northern Sweden will be sunny, but Svealand and northeastern Götaland will experience mixed precipitation including wet snow and rain. A new low-pressure system will move in over the west coast in the evening, bringing rain that may turn to snow as it reaches Svealand.

The rain-snow boundary is reportedly in Värmland. On Easter Saturday, the low-pressure system moves northward, potentially bringing windy conditions, with rain clearing in the south followed by fresh to strong wind gusts, though sunshine may appear in many parts of Götaland and western Svealand in the afternoon. On Easter Sunday, the deep low-pressure system named Dave, named by the British Met Office, is expected to arrive from the west, bringing very windy conditions.

According to reports, warnings are possible for wind and precipitation, with larger snow amounts to monitor as it moves north over Svealand and Norrland. The low-pressure system will move away on Easter Monday, and the weather is expected to become high-pressure dominated by mid-next week, though not warm due to northerly winds.
